What’s it All About?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I<\/span>T can be a difficult thing, trying to understand the modern world, with all its secrets and contradictions. I am trying to understand what makes people tick, how society works, and the hidden, esoteric ideas and concepts that influence all of our lives. What is truth and what is lie? Is it a matter of opinion? Who’s opinion? Why do some people care about truth and others not? What is love? What is hate? All sorts of big questions that ping around in my mind. My music is an outlet for all these thoughts and ideas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, i do write simple love songs too, it may be the strongest emotion the human spirit can conjure. I am not an emotionless brute! It would be impossible for me not to write a love song our two! <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I Find Almost Everything Interesting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A<\/span> creative mind is a curious mind. I find almost everything interesting because i like to know how things work. There is always a “why” or a “how” to be asked regarding any event, topic, object or situation you would care to imagine. Why is the sky blue? How does electricity work? Why do we need to pay taxes? Obvious questions with complicated answers, which, frankly, most people do not care about. Which is a shame. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Daydreaming is a Good Way to Pass the Time<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

O<\/span>NE can’t beat a good daydream to really get the creative juices flowing. Just turn off the TV, turn off the internet, turn off the computer, turn off the phone, turn off the tablet, turn off the light, turn off everything – except your mind! This seems to be a very scary prospect for some people. Too many demons floating about, too many regrets, too much guilt, to much shame…which is a shame because daydreaming can be great fun. Just switch off your mind and float downstream and oh what wonderous sights you will see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I daydream a lot. It is a lovely thing to do once you get used to it. I’ve always daydreamed whenever possible. My school reports all said i spent too much time looking out of the window but i don’t think it was time wasted, on the contrary. The trick with a good daydream is to try to be aware that you are in fact daydreaming and yet not to the point where you snap out of it. It’s like surfing the great wave between the conscious and the subconscious.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A<\/span>nd i don’t do enough of it anymore. I used to go out all the time with my Canon 7d and various lenses for all occasions, but not so much nowadays. It was like a hunting expedition but nothing was shot except my camera. I was always on the hunt for that killer photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a modest collection of photos at photorasa.com<\/a> , a website that needed an update about 5 years ago. Why does everything constantly need updating? Websites, laptops, tablets, phones. Everyone furiously running on the spot. Entropy in overdrive. Bloody hell. I need an update. Or upgrade? Oh yeh that’ll make everything a lot better. What could possibly go wrong? <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
